10. The Undertaker Vs. Rob Van Dam - Vengeance 2001
Rob Van Dam's WWF Hardcore Championship run was one of the few highlights of the bungled Invasion storyline. With a fresh character and consistently good performances in the ring, Van Dam managed to get himself and the Hardcore title over. Around RVD's waist, the belt went from a comedy midcard attraction to being defended against the likes of Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho and his Vengeance 2001 opponent, The Undertaker. The match looked like a major styles clash on paper but it turned out to be anything but. There were also worries that, after six months of no-selling the Alliance's offense, 'Taker would deliberately make rising star RVD look like a chump. Again, The Undertaker did everything but. Van Dam looked great against The Dead Man and the two men went all-out to deliver a great match. They brawler all over the arena and Van Dam did an impressive crossbody from a balcony. Eventually the two made it to the arena stage and after absorbing a Rolling Thunder and avoiding a Van Daminator, The Undertaker chokelsammed Van Dam through two tables for the victory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3PNA349jxg
