10 Insane Things WWE Will Never Do Again

3. Necrophilia

A perennial go-to when discussing bad taste in professional wrestling, the Katie Vick angle remains one of the most horrifying things WWE have ever committed to tape. Why? Because it saw Triple H simulate sex with a 'corpse'.

The dummy represented Vick - Kane’s ex-girlfriend, whom ‘The Game’ alleged ‘The Big Red Machine’ had killed in a car accident. Hunter engaged in this carnal act at her ‘funeral,’ pulling out a gloopy handful of grey matter, closing with the line “I did it, I screwed your brains out.”

Yes, really…

There was no more necrophilia, but the feud continued over the ensuing weeks, with Kane eventually defeating HHH in a casket match (thanks to Shawn Michaels’ interference). The whole thing was a step too far, even for a company as sketchy as WWE. They were met with an immediate fan backlash, and even today, 15 years later, it seems inconceivable that Vince McMahon would stoop to such levels.

He did, though, and Katie Vick lives on in wrestling infamy. Remember the angle the next time you’re feeling down on WWE’s modern creative output: it sure puts everything into perspective.
