1. Finn Balor Wins A Title Shot
Finn Balor became the first Universal Champion at SummerSlam last year, but he severely injured his shoulder in the match where he won the title. The very next evening on Raw, he was forced to give it up. He soon underwent surgery and wouldn't return to TV until after WrestleMania.
While Balor was out, the big red belt changed hands multiple times, but there was one constant - Balor never got the rematch he was owed. Even with Brock Lesnar as champion and his appearances few and far between, there's an argument to be made that Balor shouldn't even have to win a match in order to get a shot at "The Beast."
Given that Braun Strowman won't be able to take on Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire as originally planned, this is the perfect time to give Balor his shot. It would follow up on an outstanding plot point and deliver a brand new match, something WWE could use. All that needs to happen first is that Balor needs to win on Sunday, and that's worth betting on.
