10 Longest WWE Royal Rumble Performances With ZERO Eliminations
2. Ember Moon - 2019
Lasted 52:10.
Injuries.
Several of them.
That’s what prevented Ember Moon from being a top WWE act. The ex-NXT Women’s Champion was a favoured act from the black-and-gold era, enjoying a five-month run with the belt before she transitioned onto the main roster in April 2018. From there, she gradually fell down the card, came back up, fell back down, went back to NXT, and was cut altogether.
In 2019, several months before she was a transitional challenger for SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, Moon competed in the second women’s Royal Rumble match by coming close to breaking Sasha Banks’ longevity record that had only been in place for a year. Lasting fifty-two minutes and ten seconds, Ember Moon was just two minutes and thirty-six seconds shy of overtaking Banks, though a major difference was that the ‘Legit Boss’ had three eliminations to boot.
As for Moon? Zero. Naturally. She was the twenty-fourth entrant eliminated, falling to Alexa Bliss.
The match featured just twenty minutes without Ember Moon being involved, yet she was unable to get anyone up and over the ropes. For comparison, Rhea Ripley got three eliminations in seven minutes and fifty-five seconds.
The Royal Rumble literally is all about the numbers; Ember Moon was just another of them.
