Prior to the Hulk Hogan-hosted WrestleMania XXX, WWE announced a new tradition: the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

In early 2014, Cesaro had been teasing a split from "Real Americans" Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger with tremendous fan support that reached a peak at WrestleMania XXX. At the conclusion of the match, Cesaro delivered a WrestleMania Moment, winning the match by bodyslamming the massive Big Show over the top rope. Due to the circumstances surrounding the event, many fans were instantly reminded of the Hulkster bodyslamming Andre The Giant at WrestleMania III.

Many thought this was the launching pad to Cesaro as a major singles star.

Unfortunately for Cesaro, he hasn't quite reached the level of stardom many fans thought was coming in the aftermath of WrestleMania XXX. As such, this lost moment has not been revisited very often. Considering the feeling of importance it had at the time, in addition to the homage it paid to WrestleMania III, the inaugural namesake of Andre The Giant should be held in higher regard.
