10 Major Improvements AEW Must Make Before All In 2024

Tony Khan has a lot of thinking to do before AEW's next Wembley Stadium show.

AEW's first jaunt over to the UK was a rip-roaring success for Tony Khan and crew.

A reported 81,000 flocked to Wembley Stadium so they could be there live, and the All Elite boss confirmed during All Out's post-show presser that All In has pulled approximately 200,000 buys on pay-per-view. That's a more than healthy number in the current market, so Tony must be proud as punch of what his team achieved.

All In 2024 is already on schedule for next year, but...what can AEW improve on to make sure the next Wembley date is even better than the first? In short, a lot. Progress is an ongoing concern for any wrestling promotion, but Khan has the chance to prove that WWE's long-held dominance over the international market isn't ironclad.

He also has a golden opportunity to show everyone that All In 2023 was no one-off fluke. Galvanising his roster, enchanting his fanbase, growing that audience and giving London the kind of show that'll make folks rub their eyes wondering if WrestleMania has come to town is a must.

Here's the battle plan between now and 25 August 2024.

What was that about an "ongoing concern"?

CM Punk is gone, so some of the tension bubbling then boiling over behind the scenes in AEW should vanish. Please note the wording there - it "should" vanish. That doesn't mean it will, so Tony Khan must do everything in his power to assert authority and avoid more messy incidents like the ones plaguing his company for the past year or so.

Jack Perry using his spot on AEW’s biggest show ever to needle Punk was p*ss poor. He should’ve been pulled aside and scorched for that by Tony (he's since been suspended). Like, what are you doing? All In was a vital night for the company, and Perry was over there using his pre-show minutes to act like an unruly kid.

Wrestlers being rebels is nothing new, granted, but Khan has to keep a lid on things and make everyone backstage aware that he won't tolerate anymore nonsense in 2024. Nobody can ever put Tony in awkward positions like that again.
