Austin Theory must feel like pinching himself.

He's heading for a showdown vs. childhood idol John Cena at Wrestle-freaking-Mania, and he'll likely come out on the winning end due to JC's busy Hollywood schedule. The other option open to WWE is a darker path, but that doesn't mean they'll turn their noses up at it.

What if Cena beats Theory to become a six-time United States Champ, then appears on Raw the next night to retire that belt? A shiver just went up spines everywhere. Don't rule this out, because word on the street is that Triple H plans to rejig some of the title business in WWE following WrestleMania 39.

'The Game' might look at the US strap as one of the obvious expendables, then have Cena hang it up for good. Naturally, "for good"/"forever" means little in pro wrestling, but it'd still bench the belt for a while and give Raw's midcard pack less to shoot for.
