5. Ethan Page Wants The All-Atlantic Title

In something of a concerning development, more than one entry on this list is drawn from the very recent future.

When Stokely Hathaway introduced the Firm, and discussed each man's ambitions, Ethan Page had his sights set on the All-Atlantic Title, which at that point was held by PAC. Absolutely nothing came of this: instead, the usually ambivalent PAC slowly turned heel before Orange Cassidy dethroned him. So what was the original plan?

Tony Khan often books on a regionalised basis. Perhaps Page was set for a major match in his home city of Toronto before Khan put the hammer down on the PAC turn. Happily for Page, he is set for a not insignificant role in the imminent World title eliminator tournament, the finals of which are set for Full Gear.

Page has entered into and is the narrative focal point of the tournament, and since Khan is very heavy-handed with these things, is probably going all the way. Is a babyface MJF Vs. Ethan Page match set for Winter Is Coming?

It would mean that AEW isn't doing an Aces & Eights storyline, and thank f*ck for that.
