10 Most Absurd Movies Starring WWE Wrestlers
3. Covid-19 Invasion
You can often tell how much impact a historical event has had on the world by how quickly Hollywood begins to exploit it. In the case of COVID-19, movies are already reaching the heights of absurdity, and the crisis hasn't even ended.
Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has been making film appearances since 1991 and has lent his name to a fair few projects. While his time in flicks like John Wick and Magic Mike have been decent, he hasn't proven himself to be a real acting star, and that will likely remain the case after COVID-19 Invasion releases.
The film's events will follow an ex-navy seal called Rex who battles against an invasion of Chinese bats as they attempt to infect America. Information is scarce about this project - save for its ludicrous premise - but it's safe to say that this isn't going to be an Oscar-winning flick, as the unsubtle and insensitive concept is already enough to condemn the title.
COVID-19 Invasion is destined to be a rollercoaster ride, and one that will likely go down in infamy.
