4. The Inglorious Return Of Grandmaster Sexay
Grandmaster Sexay has since made two less surprise appearances on WWE programming, cropping up on an episode of NXT and an 'old school' edition of Raw alongside Scotty 2 Hotty - but his 2011 comeback remains a major shock. It blindsided everybody (he'd last appeared during his brief return in Spring 2004), and promptly set the internet alight - even if the live crowd reaction was depressingly underwhelming.
A major reason for such apathy was the fact that Grandmaster made his return as a heel, as a crudely shoehorned-in part of the feud between Michael Cole and (his real-life dad) Jerry Lawler.
The father and son engaged in a cringeworthy promo segment, in which Grandmaster explained he was ashamed to be King's son, and Lawler retorted by calling Brian a bigger screw up than Charlie Sheen.
