10 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (Jan 1)
Baron Corbin has mastered the art of the pendulum!
As the wrestling world says goodbye to 2016, over the previous week SmackDown Live decided to go out with a loud bang. The main event match for the WWE Championship was one of the best TV matches of the entire year, giving us a never before seen move. Who knew combining finishers between Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler would result in such a beautiful chimera of a spot?
Along with that End of Zag (or Zig Days? Okay, the name needs work), other great moves to help us ring in 2017 include a flying Enzo into a wrestler in a wheelchair, a top rope exploder suplex in Osaka, and bloody bite by Texano out of Cage's gnarly head. That last one was kind of gross.
Without any more delay, let's get one with 10 best of the week...
10. Onto A Wheelchair
Enzo Amore has been the whipping boy of Rusev for several weeks on end, mostly because of his own poor life decisions. However, this week he and Big Cass got some revenge on The Bulgarian Brute and his new ally Jinder Mahal.
In this highlight, Cass launched Enzo into Jinder, who was seated in a wheelchair. I'm not sure if Enzo had any legit injuries prior to this spot but he later Tweeted out a picture of a gnarly bruise on the side of his hip.
