10 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (Jan 8)
Plenty of Wrestle Kingdom 11 goodness!
It's that one week of the year when virtually every wrestling fan unites behind New Japan Pro Wrestling and they gave us a show that absolutely delivered. The last four matches of the card especially were phenomenal, while the main event made Dave Meltzer change the rules on how star ratings are supposed to work (...well, he's given 6 stars a time or two before but it was still a shocking call). Wrestle Kingdom 11 was good so unsurprisingly, there are plenty of highlights from that big show that have taken over the countdown of the best wrestling spots of the week.
Along with moves like Kenny Omega's ridiculous back body drop out of the ring and through a table are Sami Zayn's entrance ramp crossbody, a TM61 sacrificial Tower of Doom, and Roman Reigns/Bill Goldberg double spear against Braun Strowman that likely fulfilled all of Vince McMahon's wildest fantasies.
It's been an eventful past seven days, so let's get on with the 10 most memorable spots...
10. Double Spear
This might be the least spectacular move that charted on this list but it can't be denied that this double spear was important. Braun Strowman took the same maneuver from both Bill Goldberg and Roman Reigns and to be fair, it was pretty cool.
If WWE tries any time soon to do Reigns vs. Goldberg or Reigns vs. Strowman or whatever, this spear will find it's way into all of the highlight packages.
