10 Most Insane WWE Spots Of 2016
Moves that will be highlighted for years to come!
In a year marked by shocking returns and debuts, an unforeseen brand split, and an ever-expanding global reach by the world's biggest wrestling promotion, the in-ring action continues on. WWE's 2016 has given us no short supply of creative performers willing to take high risks and this is one humble attempt to count down the absolute best moves out of them all.
A few of the highlights ahead include a knockout spear off a coast to coast dropkick attempt, a couple of painful slams on precisely 69 thumbtacks, and that one hellacious fall off of the Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania 32. It's probably not too hard to guess which spot bested the rest but that should not ruin the enjoyment of reliving all of these exciting maneuvers.
Narrowing these down to just 10 with no easy task, so see which spots made this year-end cut…
10. Sunset Flip Powerbomb
During their Intercontinental 4-Way match at Extreme Rules that also included Kevin Owens and The Miz, Cesaro went for a Powerbomb against Sami Zayn but apparently gave his opponent a little too much momentum. Zayn went up and over, catching him in a gorgeous sunset flip Powerbomb.
Zayn held the move for a pinfall attempt but only got two. He had a major look of disbelief after this one because he must've been convinced that he'd score the pinfall off of such a great reversal.
