10 Most Memorable WWE Raw Moments From 1994
A look back at what made Raw's second year stand out.
By the time 1994 had rolled around, after a full year of being on television, Monday Night Raw had already become must-see television for wrestling fans. Looking back with hindsight being 20/20, many people say that the product back then simply wasn't that great, but you couldn't tell by looking at all of those televisions that had to be tuned in to watch Raw every Monday night. The show, like the company itself, was growing and trying to find its stride. Entering Raw's second year, Vince McMahon wanted things to be bigger. He wanted them to be better. He took the show on the road more, running in different venues around the country. He upped the production values, and things just looked like a much bigger deal as time went on. Let's travel back to 1994 for a bit. Seinfeld and ER were the two biggest shows on television. "The Sign" by Ace Of Base and "I Swear" by All-4-One were the two biggest songs on the Billboard charts. Schindler's List won the Oscar for Best Picture. The WWF hit a historic milestone, with WrestleMania 10 taking place on March 20th. The ten moments on this list stood out, above all else, and helped to give Raw momentum moving into its third year of existence.
