10 Most Obscure Title Wins In WWE History

1. The Rock And The Undertaker - WWE Tag Team Titles

We all know the Rock and the Undertaker have won their fair share of championships in the WWE. Together they’ve a cumulative 17 world titles, while they’ve also enjoyed plenty of success in tag team competition. The Rock most notably with Mankind, and ‘Taker with the likes of Big Show and Kane.

On top of that, though, they actually won the Tag Team Championships alongside each other at one point. They weren’t a regular duo at the time, and neither were they feuding like Cena and his partners, in what was seemingly a fairly random tag match that the pair would eventually come up trumps in.

Edge and Christian were the unlucky opponents, and the scene was Monday Night Raw. But like so many obscure title wins, it was an extremely short-lived reign. Edge and Christian would regain the gold the very same week on SmackDown, in a match with their buddy Kurt Angle as the special guest referee.

Much like our initial entry, Kurt Angle, you’d be hard-pushed to imagine anything as “obscure” in the careers of these two icons; but in this mere three-day title reign, we may just have an exception to that claim.

As ever, do feel free to comment below with your thoughts on the article, or your own obscure title reigns I might have missed, as well as anything else that you’d like to add!
