Now here’s one that’s just plain silly. We can go ahead and classify this as a variation of the chairs match, as it's the same sort of lame idea. In late 2014, Big Show and Erick Rowan were feuding, and after attacking each other with stairs, it was decided they would compete in a stairs match - where the use of stairs as a weapon was legal.

To their credit, Show and Rowan tried hard to make creative use out of the stairs. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much they could do without exposing the fact that the “steel” stairs were more akin to aluminum foil than the 500-pound steel behemoths the commentary likes to sell them as.
