10 Most Shocking WWE TitanTron Moments

8. Sunny Days

The TitanTron allowed for some memorable face-offs between wrestlers in the ring and those backstage in a way that had been rarely exploited in the previous era of miniature video walls that wouldn't even always be present.

However, the ability to have a particular performer deliver his verbiage backstage had far-reaching ramifications during one typically feisty exchange between hated enemies Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels.

Fuelling the intended King of the Ring 1997 clash between the pair that ultimately failed to materialise, Shawn and Bret were jousting as usual when Michaels delivered an infamous near-the-knuckle line that completely destroyed any shreds of trust remaining between the duo.

Commenting that Bret had seen some 'Sunny Days' lately, Shawn inferred an extra-marital affair between Bret and Tammy 'Sunny' Sytch, which naturally caused huge tension in Hart's private life, and didn't belong anywhere near a live microphone.

But then, on that night, neither did Shawn Michaels.

For not the first nor last time that year, Shawn had turned up to work allegedly so frazzled on a cocktail of drugs and alcohol that he could not be trusted to perform in front of the live crowd. The backstage promo was instead designed to prevent any embarrassing hazards, but the PA system and his face on the big screen turned out to be all 'HBK' needed.
