10. CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. The Miz (Survivor Series 2007)

He captured the strap from John Morrison in September 2007, repelled all challengers including The Miz at Cyber Sunday. But The Chick Magnet continued wasn't to be dissuaded, earning another shot at the gold at Survivor Series. Also around this time, Morrison made his return to WWE TV after serving a 30 day suspension and immediately reentered himself into the title picture. Despite Miz and Morrison winning the WWE Tag Team Championship together days before the event, it was every man for himself in the ECW Championship Triple Threat match. It wasn't a great match by any means, but it was certainly solid; moreover, Miz was able to showcase his skills as a singles competitor for the first time, while Punk and Morrison carried most of he match. In the end, the Second City Saint overcame the odds to emerge with his title intact.
