10 Most Underrated WWE Feuds Of The 2010s

2. Dolph Ziggler Vs. Seth Rollins (2018)

When Dolph Ziggler randomly strutted out to accept Seth Rollins' Intercontinental Championship open challenge on 18 June 2018, there was no predicting the quality of matches the two were going to produce over the following few months. Yes, they're both grand wrestlers, but that doesn't always qualify for an immense rivalry.

Sure enough, 'The Showoff' and 'The Messiah' were the reason to tune in to Raw every week. The promos weren't always that great, but they made up for that between the ropes with their exhilarating and often show-stealing sequences. Raw - or WWE as a whole, in all honesty - lacked this in the summer of 2018.

Take their main event 30-minute Iron Man match from July's Extreme Rules, for example. Although nowhere near as good as other Iron Man matches, Ziggler and Rollins pushed through the rowdy Pittsburgh fans - an audience that were hellbent on making the moment about themselves rather than Dolph and Seth - to create what was a stellar match that encompassed all of the typical Iron Man match tropes.

Sure, it perhaps didn't deserve the main event spot, particularly considering Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley's hoss fight was a) a better match, and b) had more fans invested, but nonetheless, the Intercontinental Championship remained an asset to Raw for a good while.
