10 Nasty Wrestling Bumps Nobody Talks About

9. Rikishi & Val Venis (WWF Fully Loaded 2000)

Speaking of a long drop, that's exactly what Rikishi was faced with at the pay-per-view of the same name just 12 months later. At Fully Loaded 2000, the big man faced Val Venis inside a steel cage for the WWF Intercontinental Title. The match has become something of a hidden gem, largely forgotten about, which is something of a crying shame.

Most notably, Rikishi sent Venis falling to the canvas, all before scaling the structure himself. Stopping once he reached the top, the ample Samoan turned and faced the crowd, who quickly realised that he intended to leap from the top of the cage.

Visibly hesitating over what he was about to do, Rikishi then sailed through the air and delivered a massive Splash to Venis below. Credit must go to both men, not just Rikishi. Val never moved, which can't have been easy when looking up at a 400lbs+ monster about to jump on you.

This is one bump that should definitely get way more credit than it ever has.
