10 Nasty Wrestling Bumps Nobody Talks About

7. Spike Dudley (ECW Guilty As Charged 2000)

The Undertaker Edge

The main event of the original ECW's Guilty As Charged 2000 pay-per-view was a glorified squash match. If that doesn't sound too inspiring, it's important to remember that 'Little' Spike Dudley was at one time the ultimate underdog in the promotion. Facing the hulking force of Mike Awesome, Spike's ECW Heavyweight Title challenge was brilliantly poised.

As soon as Awesome entered the ring, Spike peppered the beast with weak-looking strikes that struggled to make any impact. This was the perfect set-up to show the difference between both athletes and help tell the familiar 'David vs. Goliath' tale. Seconds later, announcer Joey Styles was begging officials to stop the match.

Grabbing Dudley, Awesome ran with his diminutive foe and literally threw him over the ropes and out of the ring. For added effect, Spike crashed through a stack of wooden tables around ringside.

Just as he would do many times throughout his career, Spike put his all into the bump. Less than a full minute into the match, he soaked up some serious impact.
