1. Actor
CM Punk has said numerous times that he has turned down multiple acting opportunities when in WWE. However, it appears that he is starting to come around to the idea of acting if his recent appearance on the comedy series Maron is anything to go by, and isn't wrestling just acting anyway? Punk was one of the best at being a believable and hated heel, yet he did just as well as the baby face good guy. You could say he even helped to popularise the modern gray area as far as heel vs face goes in modern wrestling, because he knew how to make his character believable and relatable. Plus, his mic skills were second to none. Film and TV acting appears to be the natural progression point for wrestlers. Stars like the Rock, Hulk Hogan and John Cena have found silver screen success (even The Miz is getting in on the action), so it would come as no surprise to see Punk try his hand at it. If the creators of the Walking Dead (one of Punk's favourite shows) offered him a role for the next season, it's difficult to believe he would turn it down. And who knows? Perhaps one day he'll be former WWE champion and Emmy Winner Phil Brooks. Regardless, 'where art thou, CM Punk?' won't be a question we'll be asking in the future. He'll be around in some form or another, but in what capacity? Can you think of anything else?
