10 New Directions After WWE Extreme Rules 2022

1. Bray Wyatt Killing Off The 'Fiend'

You had to know this dude would be number one, eh?

Bray Wyatt's return was the single biggest talking point coming out of Extreme Rules, but...what does the future hold for him? WWE aired a 'best of' collection of Wyatt's hits before the man himself strolled through a door and blew out his magical lantern. Now there's a sentence.

Crucially, Bray didn't show up with his old 'Fiend' mask on. There was a 'Fiend' at ringside, but it wasn't the 'Fiend'. Keep that at the forefront of your brains, because it could be a hint that Wyatt is about to kill off his old guise once and for all.

That alter ego became something of a nuisance (especially in-ring) for Bray during his last run in the company. Come Raw, he could host a funeral for the 'Fiend' and move back towards his old 'Eater Of Worlds' persona full-time.
