10 New Directions For AEW After All Out 2023

1. Samoa Joe Challenging MJF

Strap yourselves in, because this is going to be good.

Samoa Joe stormed out for his match on the card just as MJF and Adam Cole were walking up the ramp following their own bout. He shoved Friedman, laughed about it, then locked the AEW World Champ in a submission hold when MJF took the fight to him in-ring.

That was a killer nod towards Joe shoving Max (who was little more than an extra at the time) in WWE many moons ago, and it was such a brilliantly-simple way to set up the Samoan's title challenge. Both Joe vs. Cole and Joe vs. MJF would be excellent matches. They're must-haves for Tony Khan.

Joe vs. MJF would work at WrestleDream next month, for example. Fans were into what they saw on Sunday, and it's true Friedman needs another World Title opponent soon so he doesn't just become a tag-team guy. Book this immediately!
