4. The End Of Judgment Day

Edge beating Finn Bálor’s ‘Demon’ form inside Hell In A Cell was a “final boss” kind of moment for Judgment Day as a whole. It seems the group could be heading for the WWE scrapheap; Rhea Ripley will dart over to SmackDown as new champ, Dominik Mysterio still has more business with Rey, and that leaves the faction pretty pointless as an ongoing concern.

It ain't gonna soldier on as Finn and Damian Priest, put it that way.

‘Mania 39 was the end of the faction's story. It started approx one year ago thanks to Edge, and now his Brood form has killed the thing stone dead on the grand stage. That wasn't part of WWE's hype for the HIAC encounter, but it makes sense to move onto other things now.

WWE's writers don't tend to linger on this kind of decision, so don't be totally stunned if JD just vanishes from Monday's Raw onwards. After all, as some WWE creative types might argue, where do they even go from here post-loss?
