10 Next Big Things Currently On WWE's Books

9. Bianca Belair

The Velveteen Dream
WWE

Another of the Performance Center’s current crop of females, Bianca Belair has been with the company since April 2016.

Since then, she’s largely wrestled at live events, making her official in-ring debut in September of the same year and appearing on just the one NXT television taping—in the 14-women Battle Royal just after WrestleMania—as well as an online-exclusive dark match to qualify for the Mae Young Classic.

Looking at those dates, it’s already proved to be a fairly rapid rise for Belair, with her progress likely being aided by her collegiate athletics background. As a student at the University of Tennessee, Belair was named in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) honour roll in both 2011 and 2012 and is widely considered one of the best pure athletes on WWE’s books.

Inside the ring, she has a pretty mean Spear, an innovative hair whip (yes, a hair whip) and an awesome 450 splash that covers an impressive distance. NXT Trainer Matt Bloom says himself that he can “see big things happening” for Belair.

Fun fact: she’s also engaged to fellow NXT-er Montez Ford. Cute.
