The retirement of WWE superstar Christian was a news item that got the wrestling world buzzing in the last week of 2014. He's a guy that a lot of people have liked for a long time because of his great matches, entertaining promos and strong ethic. He's been a part of WWE off and on since 1998, so to see him walk away without much fanfare was a bit bizarre. Christian is a two time World Heavyweight Champion that was also part of a legendary tag team with Edge that won seven Tag Team Titles together. He's also held every other title there is except for the WWE and US Titles. While he was not the true main even level performer that Edge was, he was always very close to that. In 2011, he was part of a great feud with Randy Orton too, so he certainly held his own when given the opportunity. There isn't a lot known about his life away from the ring. We know that he's married with a young daughter, but he's always had a bit of a mystery about him. He's not a heavy social media user (@Christian4Peeps on Twitter) and unlike a lot of people in wrestling, he rarely does interviews. He's a guy that accomplished his dream of being a great wrestler, but he also seems content with just staying out of the spotlight.
