1. Bobby Roode Wins NXT Championship
It's safe to say that Bobby Roode has taken NXT by storm since he debuted in the promotion this summer. With his fantastic gimmick and that 'Glorious' entrance, former TNA champ Roode is already one of the most over guys in the company.
After winning a Fatal Four Way match this week on NXT television, Roode is now on course to face NXT champion Shinsuke Nakamura in January. We're certain that the NXT TakeOver: San Antonio main event will have one of the hottest crowd reactions of the year because of the popularity and talent of the two men involved, but we're less sure what the outcome will be.
It could well be that 'The King of Strong Style' will retain his title there to extend the feud to WrestleMania weekend. Whichever route the NXT bookers choose to take with this one though, it seems inevitable that Roode will be NXT champ at some point in 2017. He's simply too over not to get a run with the belt. And when he does, we hope Tye Dillinger is the man who eventually dethrones him.
