10 NXT Wrestlers Who Must Be Called Up For WWE Brand Split 2016

1. Finn Balor

Out of everyone in NXT right now, Finn Balor may be the heavy favorite to someday main event a WrestleMania. He has that intangible “it” factor that draws people to him. He’s not the traditional over the top, trash talking wrestler like The Rock, or Steve Austin, he most closely parallels Jeff Hardy, who also had a unique charisma that saw him near the top of the company due to a passionate fanbase.

When Finn does make the jump, he should be treated like a star immediately. He looks like one, he wrestles like one, and his unique entrance on the main roster will be only that much better than what we’ve seen from him in NXT. With the company struggling to round out their shows with compelling babyfaces, they’ve got a great one ready to unleash upon the world as soon as the brand split goes down.

The man has been in developmental far too long as it is, hopefully all this extra time waiting will be worth it.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
