10 Original Shows You Should Watch On The WWE Network
1. The Monday Night War: WWE Vs. WCW
Any wrestling fan worth their salt knows about the Monday Night Wars, the period of time in the mid-to-late 1990s when WWE and WCW squared off for ratings victory on a weekly basis, with WWE often left in the dust. Through the ups, the downs, and everything in between, the Network showcased WWE's eventual triumph in The Monday Night War: WWE Vs. WCW.
There's not a single point on the timeline of this sports-defining tug of war that isn't spotlighted in an episode. The NWO, D-Generation X, Mick Foley, the Harts, ECW, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Goldberg, Chris Jericho, The Rock, The Kliq, and women's wrestlers all get a respective episode devoted to them.
Many stars that lived through the Monday Night War, including the McMahons, Eric Bischoff, and Ted Turner all speak about their experiences in between segments.
Obviously, there won't be new episodes of The Monday Night War, but what you do have is one of the most complete and comprehensive series of episodes on the WWE Network. While the story is a little biased in WWE's favor, there are no true inaccuracies, just tons of information and amazing moments worth reliving.
