10 Potential Outcomes For WWE WrestleMania 33

It feels like a long time since the Royal Rumble, doesn't it? A long time since we saw Goldberg destroy Lesnar (again), Reigns lay down an implicit challenge to Undertaker, and Randy Orton win his second Rumble match. The wheels were set in motion for April, but it still seemed rather far away.

Well, WrestleMania 33 is now right around the corner, and these storyline seedlings are finally ready to blossom (with varying degrees of anticipation from WWE's ever-fickle hardcore audience). Goldberg is now WWE Universal Champion after controversially defeating Kevin Owens in a matter of seconds, while an ageing Undertaker is widely tipped to lose to the Big Dog.

Having burned down WWE Champion Bray Wyatt's compound, Orton is somehow still the babyface heading into his title bout - while spurned number one contender AJ Styles has been forced to settle with a match against Shane McMahon.

It's one of the most stacked 'Mania line-ups in years - let's not forget other eagerly awaited matches such as Triple H vs. Seth Rollins and the Raw Women's Championship four-way - yet stacked doesn't necessarily mean good.

Let's take a look at ten potential occurrences we'll see this Sunday, and analyse quite what this means for WWE's status quo. Will the event be remembered as a modern great a la WrestleMania 30, or will a repeat of last year's damp squib be on the cards?

Since Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar III was announced, we've all been wondering quite how the match will go down given the age and limitations of the WCW legend. Their original clash at WrestleMania XX showed a startling lack of chemistry between the pair (although motivation was also a major factor, as both men were on their way out of the company at the time).

Survivor Series 2016 then saw one of the biggest shocks in modern wrestling, as Goldberg bested Lesnar in a matter of seconds. The result was raucously received by most fans, but everyone was decidedly less enthusiastic about Bill's decimation of Kevin Owens at Fast Lane.

Assuming Lesnar vs. Goldberg does indeed end the night in Orlando, could we be looking at the shortest main event in WrestleMania history (excluding that hastily tacked-on match between Hulk Hogan and Yokozuna in 1993)? Serious question marks linger over Goldberg's ability to go for more than a couple of minutes, and it's hard to see how WWE are going to book themselves out of this one.
