Stars have been made during the Royal Rumble match. In 1994, Kevin 'Diesel' Nash received rapturous applause from fans for his dominating performance. At ringside, Vince McMahon decided right there and then that he could do something with the big man. Similarly, Kane has been a huge force in the Rumble over the years, holding the record for most eliminations ever in Rumble history. Perhaps there's something to be said for attempting to launch Rowan's star during the 2016 Royal Rumble, similar to Kane. WWE have found it difficult to give fans what they want over the past few years, but people have shown they will get behind an impressive string of eliminations. Erick Rowan could be a dark horse during the 2016 Rumble, maybe even entering early and eliminating many. If the wrestler did enter very early in the match, the longer things went on, the more invested fans would theoretically get in his chance at winning. That's what the Royal Rumble should be all about, helping new stars progress. For Rowan, the next Rumble could be a launching point for his career.
