9. AEW Start To Oust WWE From Europe?

It's a matter of if not when Tony Khan and company will attempt to spread wings beyond their North American home base into Europe. Signs point to that happening before 2025, but it could take AEW some to fully entrench themselves into a continent traditionally monopolised by Vince McMahon's product.

WWE have been hitting up European countries since the early-90s, after all.

That's not to say that AEW don't have a chance to oust WWE as the go-to favourite for European wrestling fans though. Recent pointers suggest that WWE's grip on some markets is loosening. Sky Italia outright replaced McMahon's programming with AEW, and ratings on BT Sport haven't exactly been hot either.

Meanwhile, AEW continues to chug along nicely on ITV. Admittedly, they'll need to snag a live television deal in some places (like the UK) and move away from delayed episodes of Dynamite, but that's bound to happen eventually. When it does, and if the company can tour regularly, then they could in turn grow exponentially as an organisation.
