10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About WrestleMania 33

9. The Ramp Is Too Long

We’ve all seen the leaked images of WWE’s WrestleMania 33 set by now. The theme park aesthetic makes sense given the location, and the rollercoaster is going to look awesome by the time it’s complete. There’s a strong chance that this could be the most spectacular 'Mania stage of all-time, and it’s already being touted as the most expensive.

There’s just one problem, however: the ramp. Extending all the way down from one of the stands, this year’s walkway is absolutely gigantic. It looks even longer than the one used at the Royal Rumble (which was huge itself), and while the wrestlers descending from such a height and distance should make for a spectacular visual in the arena, it will cause major problems.

The long ramp will likely result in the need for Rumble-style scooters to bring the larger athletes to the ring, which means we’re in for all kinds of awkward camera cuts on the night. Furthermore, the sheer length of time it’ll take for wrestlers to get to the ring will sap all the energy from the night’s most energetic entrances, and there’s a strong chance The Undertaker will spend more time walking out than wrestling.
