10 Problems Only Wrestling Fans Would Understand

9. Other Wrestling Fans

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xg0uEVzknxE The thing with wrestling fans is that it only takes one person to portray the stereotypical 'wrestling nerd' image and we all get tarred with it. Watch the video above, as this fan completely freaks out over CM Punk's 434 day WWE title reign ending to The Rock at Royal Rumble 2013. "Get the f*** out!" the fan blasts at the girl filming. "You're laughing at me and I'm getting p***** the f*** off about it!" he says before trashing a room full of his wrestling figures and DVDs. This is a grown man reacting like a three year old over a fixed performance. A grown man who storms into a room full of toys and makes a mess. Sadly, this image of wrestling fans persists. WWE have even acknowledged the poor perception of wrestling fans as nerds, with JBL regularly in his mid 2000's heel run referencing "fat kids in their basements on the internet between porn and wrestling sites". Truth be told, the majority of WWE fans I know are living in their own houses, working good jobs, in healthy relationships. The creepy types of fans are the vocal minority, fixated on their favourite wrestler, obsessing and living in a strange world of delusion, making the rest of us look bad. Most people think we are obsessive losers who live at home and never grew up, but really those type of fans are the few.
