That music, that entrance, that enthusiasm, we havent seen any of that in the WWE for nearly a decade. Now imagine if Kurt were to come home. Imagine if that music were to hit suddenly filling the arena with a blast from the past. Imagine Kurt Angle emerged from the back and came to the ring, complete with his classic pyro and mannerisms. How do you not pop huge! This is one of the best wrestlers to ever work for the WWE possibly coming home, 8 years later! He has every factor that youd need to ensure a huge ovation upon his arrival. Has he been gone a long time? He was gone 8 years, so check. Is his entrance theme iconic and quick hitting? Check and check. Was the cause of his departure a tragedy? Most would say him spending the last 8 years in TNA as opposed to WWE is definitely a tragedy, so check! Finally would it be surprising? Youre damn right it would be. Its been so long, that most fans have given up on ever seeing Kurt back in the WWE. Should he be working full time? Hell no, his body cant take the abuse the WWE schedule doles out. But for a limited run, nobody can say they wouldnt want to see him come in and have another match with Brock Lesnar, or do battle with Daniel Bryan. Afterward, Im sure hed be a great addition to the staff at the Performance Center, and could do great things working with the young guys down at NXT. Another Kurt Angle run is worth it for the pop hed get alone. There are only two people that would get bigger pops than he would.
