Molly Holly (Nora Benshoof) quietly retired from the professional wrestling business in 2005. Despite all her success, she didn’t have a big send-off. She didn’t get pinned in a Loser Leaves Town match, and she didn't suffer a career ending injury; she just decided to go back to a normal life before she even turned 30.

She originally rose to prominence on the national scene in WCW as Miss Madness, by the side of Randy Savage, and then later achieved greater success as the cousin of Crash and Bob Holly in WWE. She’s remembered for her run in the company as one of the most technically sound, and consistently entertaining performers on the roster in the early-to-mid-2000s. While many wrestlers hang on as long as possible, she walked away in the prime of her career and never looked back.

Now, she’s getting involved in the business once more, this time as a trainer. Shawn Daivari and Ken Anderson are starting up their own school; The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling in Minnesota, and have asked Molly to step back into the ring again to teach the next generation, starting on 2 Nov. She gladly accepted.

Here she talks about the historic Hell in a Cell match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte, her thoughts on the evolution of women's wrestling and the opening of the new school.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
