Seth Rollins is out injured, leaving WWE with no champion and a severely depleted roster. It couldn't have come at a much worse time, as WWE's biggest star, John Cena, is currently taking time off. WWE are left with a meagre range of wrestlers on the current european tour, and are now lacking a title main event for Survivor Series. As for the already under performing Raw, it has precisely zero established big name performers. Well, that could be all about to change. Dave Meltzer believes WWE would have been contacting Cena on Thursday about coming back early from his time off. Being the company man that he is, it is likely that he'll take Vince McMahon's call and return to the ring imminently. The only thing that could prevent that, is if rumours of him shooting a new television show are true. However, so far, it seems all Cena has done on his time off is go out with Nikki Bella and work out in his gym. If he is coming back, WWE could be about to make him the Champion. It won't be a popular decision with everyone, but in terms of a business decision, it is the smart route to go down...
