Even for the disjointed Bray Wyatt character, WWE have taken a leap into the abyss with the 'House of Horrors' stipulation for their WrestleMania rematch.

What's likely to be Bray's final pop at the title before slinking onto Monday Night Raw's undercard will take place in a match so weird and mysterious that the company can't even make up their mind what's going to actually happen.

Leaking out through Twitter and all the other usual sources, it emerged that WWE had quizzed their 'Fan Council' (an online opt-in focus group made of the most devoted members of the WWE Universe, it would seem) about what they'd like the stipulation to represent, despite already announcing and promoting the match two weeks earlier.

If the lack of foresight wasn't odd enough, the options the company threw out ranged from dull to demented.

Amongst other possible permutations, WWE proffered 'Darkness', 'Pitch Forks', 'Fog', 'Mirrors', 'Chainsaws', 'Snakes' and 'Axes'. Of course, if you loved the WrestleMania 33 calamity, 'Projections' and 'Bugs' were also available for selection, as well as the glamorous 'Other' and 'Nothing Different'.

It's ludicrous that the company would be so short-sighted with a programme that started with such promise, but it's a crime they've dragged the WWE Title into it's toxic grasp.
