10 Reasons WrestleMania 31 Is Doomed To Failure

There's solid reason to believe that for many members of the WWE Universe, Mania 31 can already be considered a memory best forgotten. Doomed to fail before the first pinfall or firework, this year's "showcase of the immortals" may actually feel to some like a stage upon which a group of talented role fillers, a mega-star and so many not quite ready for prime time players. Thus, one would be correct in noting that there are ten reasons why this proclamation can be made. From the venue itself to poorly booked matches to a severe lack of heat for certain match participants and issues that have absolutely nothing to do with grappling (but everything to do with payoffs), there's a number of serious issues that hamstring WWE on Sunday. Sadly, these are issues that are certainly quite difficult to overcome. In pointing them out, hopefully these are issues that will not occur again. WWE's in a unique position right now as a corporation. One one hand, they get external PR right every time these days. Wrestlemania's been a major mainstream PR success. However, when it comes to internally, WWE is a mess, and on a day when more mainstream eyes may be watching than usual, the company may fall far short of expectations in the ring. That's unfortunate.
