10 Reasons WWE Champion Randy Orton Should Have Been Fired Years Ago

9. Rarely Gives 100% In The Ring

In the same vein as his limited theatrics, Randy Orton is the poster boy for exerting minimal effort in the ring. Until his feud with Daniel Bryan earlier this year, I had given up on paying much attention to any of Orton's matches. I found that he moved so slowly and executed so few moves within the course of a match €“ and if I'm wrong on that, I sure came away with that impression, which is just as damning. I don't need a steady stream of high spots or blood baths to hold my attention, but I had given up on Randy Orton because he seemed to have given up on wrestling. I will admit that he perked up and started surprising me in his matches against Bryan. I wondered if he was just phoning it in all this time because he didn't feel motivated to excel against his other opponents. But when fans pay good money and spend time tuning in to WWE, they should be getting the hungry, consistent high performers, not the "untouchable" elite. Despite his rippled abs, Orton hasn't looked hungry in a long time.
