10 Ridiculous WWE Urban Legends You Need To Stop Believing
4. The Ultimate Doppelganger?
It was sad to hear the news of The Ultimate Warrior passing away a few months back, but did you know that Warrior was thought to be dead many years before? Supposedly a new Warrior was created to replace the original who had died while he had been away from WWE programming. These rumors were based on how physically different Warrior looked before and after his hiatus from WWE, Warrior lost a bit of muscle mass and changed his hair color making everyone believe that the Ultimate Warrior character was being played by somebody else. Some even speculated that Kerry Von Erich was portraying Warrior. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqCjyR_ISaE Fortunately, none of that turned out to be true. There has always been just one Ultimate Warrior in professional wrestling, and his name was Jim Hellwig before he legally changed his name to Warrior. While putting on face paint and tassels might make anyone look like Warrior, only one person could ever have the energy and ability to captivate a wrestling audience for so many years.
