And shifting focus to Hangman Page's unfortunate opponent on the night of that shocking knockout, Jon Moxley has also had a pretty rough ride in recent times, with the former AEW World Champion eventually opting to check into rehab towards the end of 2021.

Yet, while Mox heading into an alcohol rehabilitation program in the first place likely filled many fans with concern for the badass in-ring legend, the "absolute personal hell" the BCC man was going through in the lead-up to that brave decision proved that the former WWE star definitely made the right call in the end.

As Moxley would note to Matt Koesters of the Cincinnati Enquirer, things got so troubling before deciding to take some time away from performing to focus on his wellbeing that he was "afraid of dying of a seizure in the ring", with that disturbing thought being on his mind every day.

After completing his spell in rehab, Mox would ultimately return back to the world of pro-wrestling on the back of being wholeheartedly supported by the masses. But as The Purveyor of Violence himself would explain down the road, had he continued down the path he was on pre-rehab, Mox fully believes he "could have died on live television."

If you take anything away from "the best decision" Mox ever made, hopefully it's that you should never be afraid of asking for some professional help if you feel you need it.
