Roman Reigns is the future of WWE. Whilst it may not be the most popular opinion (with many fans claiming Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose or Seth Rollins would be better candidates to lead the company), the fact is that WWE higher-ups have put a lot of faith in Roman Reigns over his short career. In his first two years, Reigns spent the majority of his time in the breakout faction The Shield. After debuting at Survivor Series 2012, the trio of Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins were given high-profile wins over established stars like Daniel Bryan, Kane, Randy Orton, The Big Show and Sheamus, whilst being given TV time with The Undertaker and The Rock. Over the summer they maintained their dominance, and Reigns broke out as a true star at Survivor Series 2013, where he pinned four men to finish as the sole survivor for his team. If this showed WWE managements faith in Reigns, it was nothing compared to his Royal Rumble outing, where he eliminated TWELVE men to set a new record for most eliminations in a single match. Reigns then reunited with The Shield to defeat Evolution, before Rollins destroyed his own creation and the group was split up. In singles competition since, Reigns has been hovering near the top of the card, defeating Randy Orton cleanly and competing in several championship matches. His stock keeps rising and he seems the favourite to win this years Royal Rumble and main-event WrestleMania 31. But despite all of this exposure, Reigns has remained relatively quiet on the microphone, so we dont know as much about the Florida native as we perhaps should at this stage.
