10 Things That Need To Happen In WWE Before 2018

9. Jinder Loses The Belt

The Jinder Mahal experiment has failed. SmackDown shows aren't selling out, he doesn't put on good matches, and he just isn't a credible world champion.

Many thought when he first won the title that it would be a 'Sasha Banks-esque' title reign. However, it has dragged on. In contrast to one year ago, when AJ Styles was WWE Champion, SmackDown just feels a bit boring when the top guy is still a jobber.

Since he didn't drop the title at Money in the Bank, and then Battleground, and then SummerSlam, the general feeling is that the joke is getting old now. Fans may not have minded a short Jinder Mahal title reign, but when his reign is now longer than both Chris Jericho's and Ric Flair's longest reigns, they definitely do.

There are so many credible candidates for champion as well - it isn't like Jinder is the only option. To make SmackDown watchable again, before the year is out Mahal must lose the WWE Championship.
