Having seen his WrestleMania streak fall to Brock Lesnar three years ago, 2017 wasn't the first year in which Undertaker was beaten on the Grandest Stage of Them All - but it was the first in which he went into 'Mania as the underdog.

Almost as soon as it was announced that the Deadman would be taking on Roman Reigns on the Grandest Stage of Them All, fans took the precaution of readying themselves to witness the Big Dog take over his yard.

It was such a formality that many even groaned as it dawned on them that this - and the sight of Roman celebrating - would again close out the biggest event of the year, as opposed to the two World title matches which made do for spots on the under-card.

That is an experience wrestling fans have never known, and given the strong (though not absolute) likelihood that Undertaker has now hung up his trench-coat for good, it may have been the last time they will ever know it, too.
