10 Things That Sucked At WWE Royal Rumble 2016

It was a really good show, but...

There's absolutely no doubting that Sunday's Royal Rumble was the best we've seen in years. The last four Rumble events have provided us fans with predictable and uninspiring matches that failed to capture our imagination. And even though seemingly every single member of the WWE Universe knew that Triple H would enter at number 30 and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, there was enough in the way of thrills and spills along the way that acted as ample tonic for that slice of predictability. It wasn't just the marquee match that delivered on the night. Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose tore the house down in a very innovative Last Man Standing match; The New Day replaced Francesca with Francesca II and were entertaining as ever against The Usos; Kalisto pulled off a shock by defeating Alberto Del Rio for the US title; while the best told female story for many a year between Becky Lynch and Charlotte rumbled on, as Ric Flair disgusted - thanks to his wandering lips - and played dirty in equal measure to ensure the Divas Championship stayed with his daughter. Frankly, it was a really good show and just what WWE were looking for as they kicked off their pay per view year in 2016.
