10 Things We Learned Attending AEW Dynasty 2025 Live

6. Bayne’s Hulk-Up Moment

Much like Kevin Knight earlier on the card, Megan Bayne acquitted herself well in her AEW PPV debut Sunday night.

Bayne had the tall task of coming off strong in a losing effort, which she did in a few notable spots that resonated with the crowd. Her deadlift Falcon Arrow got a pretty good reaction, but it was her kickout at one after three doses of Sweet Cheeks Music and a Storm Zero that sent a shocked murmur through the audience.

The belief in the arena at that point was that Bayne was going to upset Toni Storm and capture the AEW Women’s World Championship. It obviously didn’t go that way for the challenger, but the fact that fans reacted that way was proof that her invincibility spot – building off her no-sell on TV last month – worked extremely well.

Also, while it does come off well on TV, it’s worth noting that Bayne looks even more imposing and dominant over her opponents in person. She towered over Storm and carried herself like a giant. She almost came off as a modern-day Chyna in terms of the stature and size differential.
