Overall, the latest WWE 24 special fails to provide the same depth of insight as other episodes on Bill Goldberg, Kurt Angle or Finn Bálor. Further, it pales in comparison to "Empowered", a more recent look at the rise of women's wrestling in WWE and the signing of Ronda Rousey.

Somehow though, despite being more of a Raw 25 highlight package than anything else, it's still well-worth checking out, and there are enough snippets of behind-the-scenes goodness to hold interest until the end.

It is slightly annoying to see WWE ignore the fact their bumper simulcast celebration in January was regarded by most as a letdown (especially to hardcore fans who paid big money for seats in the old Manhattan Center), but they were never going to acknowledge that.

Clearly proud of producing 25 years worth of Raw memories, WWE preferred to lean on a mix of legends with misty-eyed fondness for old times and fresh faces who grew up watching the show as kids. The result is a mixed bag, albeit one that peels back the curtain just enough...
