10 Things We Learned From WWE Raw In The UK (May 8)

4. Turmoil

It's unfair to suggest that Raw's Tag Team Titles are in a state of flux, but as evidenced by the parading of the entire division as contenders for the Hardy Boyz, it's hard to tell where the company head beyond Matt and Jeff.

Monday's Tag Team Turmoil match was designed to give shine to just about every tandem on the roster (with one painful exception), but instead highlighted the growing indifference towards every unit outside of the popular champions.

Golden Truth and the Heath Slater/Rhino combo simply won't advance beyond comedy, and Gallows and Anderson appear bereft of ideas on how to arrest a longstanding slump.

Meanwhile, Sheamus and Cesaro look set to become the new heel kingpins in the division, with their earthy offence and crisp unity giving them the potential for a dominant run in the vein of a Demolition or Big Show/Kane partnership. However, despite turning viciously on the most popular act on the show, fans currently seem content to sit on their hands rather than shower them with disdain.

This creates a further problem when the company book them to outlast the entire field, going over 20 minutes (nefariously or otherwise) in a physically demanding display. Furthermore, the only other over team in the match were squashed like bugs to facilitate their big singalong entrance entrance. Enzo and Cass' merchandise cheques may as well be lifeboats, as they're presumably the only thing saving the once-white hot duo from drowning on the bloated brand.
